THEODOROS ANTONIOU

Founder of Mesoyios College and Mesoyios Business Academy with 30 years of parallel careers in hospitality industry, vocational training and academic education. Specialist in hospitality business consulting, hospitality management and operations, managerial accounting in action, food and beverage management and service, human resources’ professional attributes development, teamwork and team-building, business communications, hospitality health and safety and hospitality coaching.

Holder of EEK Certificate accredited by HRDAuth (ΑνΑΔ).

MICHALIS SANIDIOTIS

Holds a Diploma degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland and employed by Hilton International where he served in different managerial positions in Europe, Gulf, Asia and Australia. He is a highly experienced professional with strong business qualifications and an impressive track record of more than 35 years hands-on experience in international business, hotel management, strategic planning, events management, marketing and sales management and new business product development. Michael, has over the years, proven his ability to successfully analyze an organization’s critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for enhancing competitiveness, increasing revenues, and improving customer service offerings. In parallel with his Managerial functions, Michael was attending and speaking at conferences and seminars for topics related to various hospitality and tourism subjects and trends. Today, as the Director of MBA he is dedicated to deliver knowledge and expertise to young professionals.

AKIS IOANNIDES

Raised in Limassol with a Diploma in Hotel management and a Μaster’s in Ηuman Resources and Finance, Akis is the Head of Planning and Training at Mesoyios College. With extensive General Management experience with specialization in Marketing, operation of the hotel and HR skills and a long period in training and education. Member of the Board of Cyprus Hotel Manager’s Association (PASYDIXE), approved Trainer of the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus and an examiner in Certification of Kitchen, Restaurant, Bar and Housekeeping.

SAVVAS KONSTANTINIDIS

Savvas Konstantinidis has more than a decade of professional experience in the Hospitality Industry, mostly in the Food and Beverage Department. ) It is also important to mention that he was involved in organization of international and pan European Special VIP events in Cyprus. He holds a BSc in Hospitality and Tourism Management from T.E.I. of Thessaly and a Master’s degree in Marketing Advertising and Public Relation from the University of Sheffield, currently pursuing second master’s degree in MBM (MSc in Business Management) from C.I.I.M. Moreover, he is Certified as a Trainer of Vocational Training (Level 5), he is certified as a C.H.S. (Certified Hospitality Supervisor) by the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute and finally he is a holder Vellum Travel and Tourism Diploma from EL.KE.DIM. (Hellenic Institute Learning for Life).

MARINA MAGIDOU

Marina Magidou is a PhD Candidate in Finance at the Cyprus University of Technology, since 2017. She received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing, in 2017. Ιn 2016, she obtained a Master’s degree in Energy Resources Management, from the Cyprus University of Technology. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Cyprus University of Technology, in 2014. She is currently the Supervisor of Business Administration Program at Mesoyios College, Cyprus. She is working as a Special Scientist at the Department of Commerce, Finance and Shipping at the Cyprus University of Technology, since 2017. She previously worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the Cyprus University of Technology, from 2017 to 2019.

PANTELIS KONSTANTINOU

Pantelis Konstantinou is a holder of an LL.B from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law school and a holder of a LL.M from the University of Sunderland. He is an advocate since 2008. He worked as a lecturer at the University of Nicosia at the department of law. He is currently lecturer at Mesoyios College and runs his own law firm in Limassol.

ANDRIA CHRISTODOULOU

Antria Christodoulou is a holder of a bachelor’s degree on Graphic Designer from De Montford University, Leicester UK, holder of Foundation in Art from The Cyprus Academy of Art, and also has attended Adobe Dreamweaver lessons from Frederick University, Cyprus. She worked as a graphic designer from 2014 until today. She has worked in several jobs as a graphic designer and Social Media Manager. It is also important to mention that she has knowledge of the Adobe programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) , passionate and intensive creator of innovative marketing strategies and campaigns. As a designer she is always keep up to date with the latest trend of design.

ALEXIA KONTONIKOLA

Alexia Kontonikola hold a BA in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Media, Drama from the University of Bolton. She has more than 7 years of professional experience in teaching at Levels Junior A, Junior B, Elementary, Intermediate, Advance, Proficiency, English for Adults, IGCSE. Moreover, she is prepared students for the Ascentis Anglia ESOL International Examinations (Anglia Examinations England) and Cambridge Examinations. Since 2016 she is also a full-time member of Mesoyios College as a lecture for English language. She is attended seminars for Education.

KRISTIN IACOVOU

Kristin Iacovou holds a BSC in Psychology from the University of Cyprus. Moreover, she holds a MSc. Human Resources and Employment Relations Brunel University of London and an MBA-Master of Business Administration London South Bank University-Distance Learning.  From June 2009 to May 2010 she worked as University Researcher at University of Cyprus. She worked for more than 7 years as Human Resources Manager in various Organizations and since September 2016 she is the Human Resources Generalist at Primetel Telecommunication Company. Since 2018 she is also a member of Mesoyios College as a lecturer.

ANNITA PETROU

Annita Petrou has graduated in 2006 from Manchester Business School, holding an MSc degree in Occupational Psychology. Prior, she received an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Manchester University. The last nine years, Annita has worked in the HR Department of the  RCB Bank, as Manager / Human Resources Business Partner handling Selection and Assessment and Training and Development matters. Her career spans over 12 years in the field of Human Recourses Management and L&D, she is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, member of the Health and Care Professions Council as a Registered Practitioner Psychologist. Annita is also an approved trainer and trainer assessor by HRDA and has been delivering trainings on soft skills since 2008. She is moreover a part- lecturer, delivering HRM and business modules in local educational institutions.

ELENA KARAFOTIA

Eleni Karafotia studied Byzantine and Modern Greek Language and Literature at the University of Cyprus (B.A.) and pursued graduate (M.St.) and doctoral studies (D.Phil.) at Oxford University in Late Antique, Byzantine and Modern Greek philology, history and linguistics. Eleni has significant experience of providing research and student support in a variety of multicultural/multidisciplinary academic environments having worked as proofreader for A Catalogue of Greek Manuscripts Manuscripts from the Meerman Collection, Leventis research scholar for King’s College in the digital project “Byzantine Prosopography”, the sole Greek cataloguer for Bodleian Libraries, as well as tutor and lecturer in Ancient/Modern/Byzantine Greek and Latin language in secondary and higher UK education. Additionally, Eleni has worked as senior in acquisitions and management of budget funds for the East European, Indian and Latin American purchases for Bodleian Libraries (Oxford University) and administrator for the Department for Continuing Education (Oxford University), acting also as student advisor and fundraiser for Telethon campaign and AMREF Health Africa. As an international conference/workshop organiser, Eleni hosted a Byzantine art and icons exhibition and has performed research work in digital humanities, such as the ex-libris project for Hebrew scholarship (Leopold Muller Memorial Library). Eleni has been awarded by Oxford University in recognition of her contribution/research in Byzantine Studies and also served as a Fulbright scholar for the programme “Youth Leadership and Community Service Initiative at the American University Washington D.C.

MARIA GEORGIOU

Maria Georgiou has a bachelor degree in French Language and Literature from the Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Maria also holds an MA in Educational Leadership and Management awarded by the Cyprus International Institute of Management. She has worked as primary French teacher at the American Academy School. After the completion of her studies, she had a vision in the educational environment wishing to apply innovation and creativity in educational methods of teaching and so she became a USA Licensed Kindermusik Instructor. In 2014 she founded the first foreign language institute in Cyprus for pre-school children called LINGOkids Private Institute, which was accredited by the Ministry of Education. She also worked for a while as an LCCI exam officer at Pearson Qualifications.

MIKE CHRYSOCHOS 

Mike Chrysochos was born and raised in Limassol. He lived and studied Engineering in the United Kingdom and USA. In USA he had the opportunity to study at the UCF University of Florida founded by NASA. From an early age he showed an interest and talent for business, always admiring successful entrepreneurs. At the age of 24 he was a co-owner of his own business in the plastics industry. His dream grew, and his success grew simultaneously. After 14 years he managed to develop and grow his business to such a degree that he was able to sell it off to the largest plastics industry of its kind in Cyprus. Throughout the course of his career, he has had the pleasure of helping with his knowledge and experience as well as setting up various other consulting companies. He has served as product design manager, marketing manager, sales manager, commercial director, general manager, director member of the board. He has always been a “restless spirit” and through books and seminars he has always sought to discover his unlimited potential. But his greatest desire has always been, and remains, to help as many children as possible to grow up fulfilling their dreams so as to create a better world. He was happy to participate in the creation of a child employment center in Limassol having as the primary aim for the children to learn to give value to life without selfishness but through love. This desire led him to neuro-linguistic programming and Mental coaching. Together with his partner, he created the Personal Development Academy for Parents and Children, The “Merry” People Academy, where the programs Super Kids, Super Teens, Super parents and Super people are offered. Their purpose through the experiential workshops for parents / adults and children is: For all of us to evolve and discover our true selves.

 

MARILIA KOUNTOURIDOU

Marilia Kountouridou has graduated from University of Leeds with a Master in Marketing and Advertising. She is a PhD candidate in Business Administration/Marketing. She is a lecturer in Business Administration and travel and tourism, with a special interest in Marketing. She is a passionate marketer with considerable PR and Marketing communication experience in both corporate and agency setting with strong communication skills. She has work experience in positions such as marketing coordinator, public relations and event coordinator. She gained a lot of professional experience, in social media marketing, email marketing, public relations, sales promotion and event management.
